The resolution of a dash cam matters – for example, it lets you read the number plate of the person responsible for an accident. The ROADCAM 1 CE records in Full HD (1920x1080).

It also records audio. The camera has a wide-angle lens (170°) and 4x digital zoom. A clear LCD screen rounds off the package.

Straight to your destination

The ROADCAM 1 CE has a built-in GPS module that quickly locates the vehicle's position on a map and displays speed in the recorded footage. The dash cam also lets you plot your route in GPS Player-type software.

A safe car in the car park

Now you can leave your car in the car park with peace of mind. Parking mode is a feature that keeps your car safe. When the camera detects vibration (e.g. a parking bump or a break-in), it switches on and records a short 10-second clip of the event. You don't need to be in the car for the ROADCAM 1 CE to protect your vehicle.

Securing footage from an accident

The ROADCAM 1 CE features a sudden acceleration/braking sensor (G-sensor). If a collision is detected, the camera automatically protects the last video file from accidental deletion. The sensitivity of the accelerometer can be individually adjusted in the camera menu.

Night watchman

The ROADCAM 1 CE has a night mode to ensure high-quality footage recorded at dusk and at night. The bright lens combined with the white balance function ensures a clearer image and natural colours in low-light conditions.

Clear image, even against the light

The ROADCAM 1 CE's image is characterised by a wide HDR (High Dynamic Range) brightness range, comparable to the brightness range perceived by the human eye. Most devices on the market cannot capture the full dynamic range of human vision (LDR). The ROADCAM 1 CE uses HDR to improve video quality when the camera is pointed towards a light source.

Loop recording

The camera offers various recording settings: single shot / timed recording / continuous recording. With the ROADCAM 1 CE, you also don't need to worry about running out of space or constantly deleting old files. The recorder records continuously, meaning older files are overwritten by newer ones.

miniUSB

The miniUSB port is used to connect to a PC to transfer data from the device's memory. It can also be used to charge the battery or to supply the power needed for the device to operate.

Automatic start

The recorder has a built-in motion detector. When the car starts, video recording begins automatically. Once the car stops, there is a 5-second delay before recording is automatically switched off by the device.
