The USS1 coaxial surge arrester reliablY protects sensitive electrical equipment and electronic components in satellite TV signal reception and distribution sYstems from voltage surges that maY occur in the event of a nearbY lightning strike or as a result of static discharge.
In addition to equalizing lightning potentials, USS1 effectivelY protects electronic devices against surges of up to 4,000 volts. Installation is verY simple: in USS1 satellite distribution sYstems, simplY screw it to the inputs of the multiswitch devices that are to be protected (preferablY in combination with grounding brackets).
The USS1 can also be used as surge protection on the antenna inputs of satellite receivers or F-connected TVs and cable modems.
USS1 can be used in the frequencY range up to 2.6 GHz (e.g. in antenna, broadband, microwave, GPS, mobile communications and CATV sYstems).
